Himachal Pradesh government has decided to draw a long-term plan to boost cinema-tourism in the state, which has been a destination for Bollywood film makers to shoot movies.
"We will consider drawing a plan to boost cinema tourism in the state, a favourite location for shooting Bollywood movies," Dhumal told reporters today.
Asked if he would take advise from Bollywood artistes in his party like Shatrughan Sinha, Hema Malini and Smriti Irani, Dhumal said the government will consult them and also those artistes who hail from the hill state.
Actress Preity Zinta and Kangana Ranaut and Anupam Kher hail from Himachal Pradesh, which is often compared to Switzerland and Sweden for its scenic beauty.
Besides, Amitabh Bachchan's "Black" and "Shoe Bite", films starring Shahrukh Khan, Ajay Devgan, Sunny Deol and Shahid Kapoor were also shot in the hill state recently.
