Hyderabad-based, Travelspice.com is looking at promoting budget holidays which range up to Rs 10,000 among domestic travellers. For the same, the company is targeting the working middle class family and affluent traveller by offering products like flights, hotels, buses and will soon introduce train booking facility through IRCTC. The company is also actively promoting wildlife and pilgrim segments in India after witnessing huge demand among travellers.
The company will market its product offerings through advertising at bus back panels in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, as well as undertake online advertisements, search engine optimisation, e-commerce initiatives etc.
According to Ramu Kallepalli, CEO, Travelspice.com, “Budget travellers comprise close to 48 per cent and the budget segment is showing huge potential for growth. Our gross profits increased by 51 per cent last year. To further develop this segment, we will work towards low prices, simple website, marketing focus and sell all travel products.”
