Private sector airline today said it had launched a mobile site to provide people information about its services, call centre contact details, frequent flyer programme benefits and special offers, among other things.
A press release from the airline said passengers can also check for the lowest fares available for a given service and date through the site.
It said the search facility was available for both one-way and return journey across all Jet Airways and code share flights.
If a passenger wants to book a flight, there is a call option on the site which helps the user to instantly connect to the call centre and book tickets through the secure IVR payment gateway, the release said.
People can also get information about flight status and check in through the site, the release said.
"Mobile penetration in India is constantly growing, with more and more people now accessing information and browsing the web via their mobile phones," Mr. Nikos Kardassis, CEO, Jet Airways, said.
"The launch of Jet Airways’ new mobile site is in keeping with our tradition of constantly innovating and harnessing the power of technology to make life simpler, while continually adding value to our relationships with our guests," he added.
