Dubai-based luxury hotel chain Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts recently appointed Delhi-based OM Tourism as its sales and marketing representation for the Indian market. OM Tourism will engage in the marketing and promotion of the brand in the country and will work towards increasing sales for the Group from the Indian market. OM Tourism will appoint two dedicated representatives in Delhi and Mumbai to attract visitors from these markets. The hotel chain recognises India as a key growth region to generate business for Jumeirah’s properties worldwide.
The representation company is presently in the process of finalising its promotional and marketing strategy for the brand in the Indian market. It will focus on positioning Jumeriah as a premium brand in the Indian market to attract high-end lesiure and MICE segment. The company will also focus on promoting Dubai and the Jumeirah properties as experiential products to the Indian market. This will help drive families to explore the properties. In the past two years, the company has seen a significant growth from the high-end Indian outbound market, despite the slowdown.

We expect India to be a strong source market for the existing, as well as new hotels.
