With a view to attract more tourists to Himachal Pradesh and enable them to enjoy the entire wintry weather in the winter months, the HP Tourism Development Corporation Ltd. (HPTDC) has announced 20% to 30% Winter discount from 15th November, 2010 to 8th April, 2011 in all its 57 Hotels on room tariff located in the State. This was disclosed by Vineet Kumar, Managing Director of the Corporation.

The suspense finally ended for Kingfisher Airlines and Jet Airways on Wednesday with the ministry of civil aviation giving them the green signal to shift their domestic operations to the new integrated Terminal 3 on Sunday. The present domestic terminal ID will then become the first exclusive low-cost carrier terminal in the country from where the remaining domestic airlines, including GoAir, will carry out their operations.
